Train is comfortable and affordable for long routes, and India's rules reward knowing them well. We arrange all three sanctioned options — the coupe allotment, the documents and the brake-van booking — so you don't have to navigate the parcel office alone.

How booking actually works
Pet tickets can't be booked on the main IRCTC app. They're confirmed after the passenger chart is prepared (about four hours before departure) on the Railways Parcel site, or in person at the station parcel office — and the 1st AC coupe allotment is a separate written request. We handle the timing, the request and the paperwork end to end.
Honest comfort note
Brake vans can get hot in peak summer. We favour overnight trains and the AC coupe for sensitive pets, and we'll tell you plainly when train isn't the kindest choice — senior or snub-nosed dogs are usually better by road or air.

Pet relocation by air — Air India and Akasa, fully managed.
When a city is far and speed matters, flying is the quickest door-to-door option. Only two Indian airlines carry pets, and we handle the booking, captain's approval, IATA crate and a handler on the flight — so you simply meet them at the other end.

We book the right carrier and cabin for your pet's size, breed and route. Flat-faced (brachycephalic) breeds can't fly in the hold, so we plan around that — in-cabin where they qualify, or by road instead. A fit-to-fly certificate within 48 hours is required either way.

Road, train or air — which is right for my pet?
It depends on distance, your pet's temperament and budget. Road suits most moves and pets who don't fly well; air is fastest for far cities; train is comfortable and affordable for long routes. Tell us about your pet and route, and we'll recommend the kindest option honestly.
How far do you cover? Is there a minimum distance?
We specialise in long-distance, interstate moves across India. For very short, within-city hops we're not the right fit and will point you to a good local service instead — our focus is getting pets safely across the country.
Is a long road journey safe for my pet?
Yes, when it's done properly. Your pet travels in a private, air-conditioned vehicle with a trained handler, secured in a crate or harness, with scheduled rest, water and feeding stops paced to them — plus live updates the whole way.
Does a handler travel with my pet?
Yes. A trained FidoJet handler accompanies your pet by road and on the flight, and rides the same train for guard-van dog-box bookings — feeding, settling and checking on them throughout.
Which airlines carry pets within India?
Two: Air India and Akasa Air, both for domestic dogs and cats, in-cabin and as cargo. We book the right one for your pet's size, breed and route, and handle approvals, the IATA crate and the fit-to-fly certificate.
Can my dog travel in a train coupe, or only the brake van?
Dogs and cats can travel with you in a private 1st AC coupe or cabin (booked in full). Puppies, kittens and small cats that fit a basket can travel with you in any class. Larger dogs travel in a ventilated dog box in the guard van, with a handler on the same train. We arrange whichever suits your pet.
Do you move cats and multiple pets?
Absolutely — cats, multiple pets and mixed households are all routine for us. We plan crates, comfort and the right mode so everyone travels calmly together.
What documents will my pet need?
For domestic travel, a fit-to-travel certificate from a registered vet (issued close to travel) and up-to-date vaccination records. We coordinate the vet visit and prepare everything so nothing holds you up on the day.
Can flat-faced breeds like pugs or bulldogs fly?
Brachycephalic breeds can't travel in the cargo hold for safety reasons. They may fly in-cabin if they meet the weight and carrier limits — otherwise road is the safer, more comfortable choice, and we'll advise honestly.
How long does an interstate move take?
It varies by route and mode — a flight is a few hours, road and train run longer. We share a clear timeline with your plan so you know exactly what to expect at each stage.
